Add coarsely ground coffee to the nut milk bag or cold brewing filter (if using) or directly to the large glass jar.
Pour room temperature water into the jar being sure to get all of the coffee grounds saturated.
Give the mixture a stir.
Cover the jar and leave at room temperature to brew for 12 - 18 hours.
After the cold brew coffee concentrate has brewed, strain out the grounds (or remove the nut milk bag with coffee grounds) and pour into a jug.
Store in the refrigerator.

The minimum brew time for a good cold brew concentrate is 12 hours but it can go up to 18 hours.
