Get the recipe
Add unsalted butter to a heavy bottomed saucepan
Simmer the butter and skim off the foam.
Continue cooking to allow the milk solids to separate from the fat.
When the milk solids fall to the bottom your ghee is ready.
Strain out the milk solids through a cheesecloth lined mesh strainer.
Pour into a glass jar to store. The ghee will firm up as it cools.
